Comments and Feedback From Schools

“Just a note to say thank you for everything. The band were a pleasure to have here and so incredibly easy-going. It has been a real joy. All the teachers I have spoken to over the last couple of weeks have told me how much they have enjoyed having WoS in their schools and also how much their students have enjoyed taking part in the workshops and the performance. Lots of people who came as audience members have also relayed to me how fantastic the band was.

So......seems to have been a bit of a success!!”

"Many, many thanks again to both Maya  and Louise for a fantastic day.  The kids were still absolutely buzzing with excitement the following day and want us to get one of the kits outside so that they can use it during lunchtimes!

I couldn’t have been more impressed with the workshops and the staff inset was perfectly pitched and great fun - no mean feat!

Many thanks again for a wonderful day which I hope will lead to lots of junk music making at North!”

“Weapons of Sound’s input into the musical development and interest of children in the area and knowledge of composition and performance within different music styles of music was greatly appreciated. The unique contribution that you made to the week was enjoyed by all. I am pleased to say that you provided access for ALL children into the area of music making – no expense necessary!! Live performances  have certainly enhanced the childrens musical development and intrigue and helped to promote music throughout the school”

“I just wanted to tell you how much everyone appreciated the workshop. Weapons of Sounds workshop facilitators managed the children brialliantly and everyone is still buzzing from the experience. Most of the kids had a smile on their faces all day long and now they can’t wait to form their own junk band.

They left us with a fantastic memory that will stay with us all for a very long time”.
